New guide offers insights on degree programs and cost-savings opportunities

������Ƶ is pleased to announce the release of its new Admissions Guide as an extensive resource helping students and prospective students understand the admissions process including degree opportunities, programmatic accreditation, student support services, and ways to reduce education costs. A natural extension of the university’s dynamic and personalized digital campus, the guide is designed to support seamless navigation, enabling students to find what they need and embark on their academic journey with confidence.

“At ������Ƶ, our focus is to streamline the admissions process and help students save both time and money while pursuing their educational aspirations,” says Vice President of Admissions and Evaluation, Devin Andrews. “Our new Admissions Guide is crafted to offer vital support and resources, ensuring every student is equipped with the necessary tools. By sharing resources like scholarships and transfer credits and providing flexible, competency-based programs, we are dedicated to making higher education both accessible and affordable.”  

The guide highlights the following key information:

• Program information: The guide provides detailed overviews of degree programs in   Business, Information Technology, Healthcare, Nursing, Education, Criminal Justice and more.

• Cost savings: Learn about ten time and/or money saving opportunities for students.

• Campus and culture: An introduction to the digital campus and supportive culture at ������Ƶ, designed to support the working adult learner.

• Accreditation: An overview of accredited programs at ������Ƶ and what accreditation means for students.

• Admissions process: What to expect when applying for admission, including admission requirements.

• Student support: In-depth information about the resources and support ������Ƶ students have access to from day one through graduation.

• Frequently asked questions: Answers to commonly asked questions directly from the enrollment team at ������Ƶ.

• Alternative credit providers: Understand lower-cost, self-paced, online general education and elective courses from StraighterLine, Sophia Learning and Study.com, which can reduce overall program costs.

• Community college relationships: Through the ������Ƶ 3+1 Transfer Pathway, students can transfer 87 credits into a bachelor’s degree — equivalent to three years — from a participating community college.

In addition to the Admissions Guide, ������Ƶ offers a comprehensive Savings Explorer® tool that presents information about scholarship opportunities, as well as transferring college credit and earning credit for prior learning through Prior Learning Assessment, national testing programs, alternative credit providers, and military service. By answering a few simple questions via the Savings Explorer tool, prospective students can find out what other students with relevant experience have saved.
